Rajon Rondo Signed a One-Year Deal With the Kings

Will the new team lead to better things for a struggling Rajon Rondo?

No one really talks about Rajon Rondo these days. After making his name as a scrappy but reliable point guard, Rondo has become known as an unlikeable teammate who can't shoot. His year with the Mavericks was a bust, and it ended with him totaling just 10 minutes in the Game 2 first-round series against the Rockets.

After seeing his stats go south, Rondo will head west. The guard signed a one-year, $9.5 million deal with Sacramento. Will the new start lead to a Rondo Renaissance? Maybe, but the Kings are also in need of a come-up after finishing 29-53 last season.
