Mark Cubanstruck out when it came to signing DeAndre Jordan this offseason, but it doesn't sound like he's going to let the Mavericks tank just yet. According to ESPN Dallas, Deron Williams is preparing to accept a buyout from the Nets and will sign a two-year deal with Dallas worth about $10 million. Williams' wife posted this on Instagram a short time ago:

It's worth noting that Williams shot a career-worst 38.7 percent from the field last season and that he's not considered one of the best point guards in the NBA anymore. But if nothing else, his addition to Dallas' roster will make next season's Mavericks/Clippers matchups even more epic than they were already going to be, considering Williams' past with Paul Pierce. This will be fun.
