Did Matt Barnes Really Yell "Suck My D*ck, B*tch" at James Harden's Mom?

Perhaps. Here's how we arrived at this point: During last night's Clippers/Rockets game, Matt Barnes fouled James Harden as The Beard drove to the basket—a mind-numbingly routine play for the Rockets. (They shot 64 free-throws in last night's Hack-A-DeAndre/Dwight contest.) Barnes gave Harden a bump after the play, and was T'd up for it.

That's just Barnes playing like the scrappy enforcer he is. What happens next is an example of Barnes talking smack like the professional on-court shithead he is. Harden's mother, perhaps upset at how Barnes was handling her boy, reportedly got into it with Barnes during the game.

What did Barnes say though? We've heard of NBA stars talking trash to other players about their mother's before—nobody is immune to a "yo mama" joke—but Barnes went directly at Harden's mom, Monja Willis. According to Nick Wright, a CBS Sports radio host, Barnes said something pretty sickening to Mama Beard.

This shit just got personal. Game 4 of the Clippers/Rockets series is on Mother's Day. It's. About. To go. Down.

1.

Or not! Thankfully, after the game, Barnes apologized to Willis after one of her other sons confronted him about it. TMZ Sports has the scoop:

Willis tells us ... "My older son walked over to him and told him to apologize ... and he did."

Monja says, "What he told me was that he would never want to disrespect anyone's mother because his mother passed from cancer ... and that he was sorry."

"I accept his apology."

I think Matt owes James' mom at least an edible arrangement for Mother's Day.
