Kenny "The Jet" Smith's daughter Kayla Brianna is an R&B singer. We've actually known this for quite some time now and wrote about her first music video, "If You Love Me," back in January 2012. But at the moment, it appears as though she's going to be making some major moves in the near future.
According to TMZ Sports, Kayla is in talks with Birdman right now and might be signing to his label (it's unclear if it'll be Cash Money records or a subsidiary of the label) sometime soon, which was why she was spotted hanging out with him recently. TMZ Sports tried to get the scoop over the weekend, but she didn't want to provide any details. She did, however, tell them that her famous father has tried to help her career along in the past.
"He tries to give me advice," she said, "but I tell him, 'You stick to basketball, I got this.'"
