Cam Newton's guardian angel is the real MVP. Because for the second time in the last three months, the Panthers quarterback reportedly just survived a brush with death.

According to WSOC TV in Charlotte, N.C.,  Newton—who was involved in a bad car accident back in early December—was on stage during a Young Jeezy concert at the Label nightclub inside Charlotte's North Carolina Music Factory on Saturday night when someone in the audience pulled a gun out and started shooting into the crowd. Newton, Jeezy, and everyone else inside of the club ran for cover when the gunfire began. Two people were injured during the shooting, but fortunately, neither of them sustained life-threatening injuries.

At this time, Newton hasn't spoken publicly about the shooting, and police are still trying to track down the person who fired the shots. You can check out some surveillance video from the shooting here.
