On Tuesday night, Charles Barkley went on national TV and talked about how much he hates analytics. He wasn't happy with something that Rockets GM Daryl Morey said about him on Twitter. So he sent a couple of shots in Morey's direction and then criticized other NBA executives who rely heavily on analytics.

"All these guys who run these organizations who talk about analytics, they have one thing in common," he said. "They're a bunch of guys who never played the game and they never got the girls in high school and they just want to get in the game."

Not everyone agreed with him. A number of NBA writers and fans took to Twitter to shoot down Barkley's beliefs on analytics. And last night, Keith Olbermann did a segment devoted to Barkley and didn't pull any punches while discussing Barkley's comments.

"Chuck's an idiot," he said. "See, Chuck, you use analytics, you just misremember them. Every statistic is an analytic…Free throw percentage, rebounds, touches, assists—analytics! So, Chuck, shut up! You lost! You are relying on analytics right now."

Uh, yeah, Chuck. Take that. Now can we please stop talking about analytics?
