Plaxico Burress Isn't a Big Fan of His Former Coach Nick Saban

Back in the late 1990s when Plaxico Burress played for Michigan State, Nick Saban was his head coach. At least, he was his head coach until Saban decided to take the head coaching job at LSU in 2000. And apparently, Saban's decision didn't sit very well with Burress at the time. Because at the end of the Sugar Bowl last night, Burress jumped on Twitter and, seemingly out of nowhere, took a shot at his former coach:

1.

The great Nick Saban told me not to leave school for the NFL, and to finish what I started. And he left before the season was over #facts #$

We don't necessarily blame Plax for still being upset about that, even if it's the same exact thing that dozens of college football coaches do every single season. But why did he choose last night of all nights to bring it up?
