Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin dismisses student assistant who was cheap shotting West Virginia players on the sideline during the 2014 Liberty Bowl.

Yesterday, we told you about a Texas A&M student assistant who got way too amped up during the Liberty Bowl and cheap-shotted a couple West Virginia players before being asked to vacate the sideline for the second half. Today, we bring you the inevitable conclusion to the story, which, of course, is that said assistant (aka: Michael Richardson) was dismissed (aka: fired) from the team.

Head Coach Kevin Sumlin released the following statement regarding the inexplicable incident:
