Last week, a Staten Island grand jury decided not to indict NYPD officer Daniel Pantaleo for the lethal choke hold he used against New York resident Eric Garner on July 17, 2014. Since then, citizens across the United States have been voicing their outrage for the decision, protesting in streets all across the country.

Famous athletes such as Derrick Rose and Reggie Bush have also taken the opportunity to express their solidarity with Garner and the police protestors; over the weekend, both men were seeing wearing shirts bearing Garner's last words, "I Can't Breathe", during their pre-game warm-ups.

However, athletes in the United States aren't the only one showing their support for Garner and the protestors marching in his memory. Over the weekend, Anthony Ujah, a Nigerian soccer player who plays for Germany's FC Köln, used a goal-scoring celebration as his personal platform to stand with Garner and the American protestors.

When asked about the Garner situation after the game, Ujah said (according to Google Translate), "It's very difficult for me and my family to deal with it."

Hopefully, Ujah, Bush, and Rose won't be the only athletes to stand with Garner. It's looking like a certain, high-profile name will be joining the cause soon.
