On Saturday, Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson will play against his former team, the Eagles, for the second time this season. So naturally, he was asked about it during an interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer yesterday. And he revealed that he doesn't miss playing for the Eagles…at all.

"Nope," he said, "I don't miss the team. I don't miss the organization. There's no point in living in the past. This is my team. This is where I am for better or worse. Do you live in the past? It's no way to live."

But when Jackson was asked if he ever found out why the Eagles decided to release him earlier this year, he got snippy and sounded like a guy who still hasn't quite gotten over his unceremonious exit from Philadelphia.

"Didn't you hear? I'm a gangster," he said, alluding to a report that was put out just before he was released in March. "I'm in a gang. That's why I'm gone."

And Jackson also took a shot at the Eagles' current receivers while talking about their team.

"They've still got [Jeremy] Maclin," he said. "I'm happy for my boy. He's been dealing all year. But it's Maclin and that's all they've got."

Saturday's game should be interesting, to say the least. Do you think D-Jax will light up his former team again like he did earlier this season?

UPDATE:

Via Instagram, Eagles running back LeSean McCoy posted a response of sorts to D-Jax's jabs:

Note McCoy's repeated use of the word "cuz".
