Perhaps the University of Maryland football team has gotten caught up in the Ebola paranoia. Maybe their football captains grew up in a different culture where they greet people by staring at them in the face with cold, dead eyes. Whatever the reason, things got weird in Happy Valley today when Maryland's three captains refused to shake the outstretched hands of the Penn State players standing across from them before the coin toss.

For the diss, the Terrapins were give a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty before the game even began, which has got to be some kind of record for quickest penalty in a college football game ever. Oh, and the two teams also wanted to rumble pregame when they got into what can only be described as a light tussle during warmups. Maryland ended up winning the game, 20-19, teaching children all over the world that if you refuse to be a gentleman, you will definitely win at whatever you're doing.
