Earlier this year, fullback Le'Ron McClain was released by the Chargers after spending two seasons with the team. And prior to that, he spent five years playing with the Ravens and Chiefs. But today, McClain allegedly has a much different career—and it just landed him in some pretty major legal trouble.

According to reports out of Tuscaloosa, Ala., McClain was arrested on Wednesday on a drug trafficking charge after they found him to be in possession of more than 100 grams of synthetic marijuana. They issued a warrant for the 29-year-old's arrest after testing the drugs and apprehended him a short time later. He is now being held on $500,000 bond and will have to answer to the drug charge in court some time in the near future.

We'll be sure to update you on McClain's situation if and when any new details come out.
