Some football fans remembered today was Brett Favre's birthday. That's fair because as ignominiously bad his final years were, Favre's still one of the greatest to ever do it. His born day helped a majority of America forget another birthday: NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. He turns 40 and looks 25 compared to his silver fox birthday mate who's 45.
But don't worry Earnhardt Jr. Favre remembers. The somehow loveable quarterback wrote and read him a poem.
I can honestly say I didn't see this one coming. Thought I'd share. Thanks Brett and Happy Birthday! @WranglerJeans http://t.co/86LhEnPY90

" “There once was a man from Carolina,
As a driver there’s none that were finer,
At 40 years old, you’re brave and you’re bold,
But watch it Dale, there’s a young guy behind you.”
A nice gesture. Those Wrangler jeans are staying on the shelves, though.
