As we told you yesterday, Mike Tyson is in Toronto this week for a performance of his one-man show, Undisputed Truth. Yesterday, he met with Toronto Mayor Rob Ford. And today, he made a stop at the Canadian news channel CP24 to talk to reporter Nathan Downer during a live broadcast. It didn't go well.

At one point, Downer asked Tyson about meeting with Mayor Ford. Specifically, he asked him about what he thought about some of the Mayor's critics, who have said that Mayor Ford should not have agreed to meet with a "convicted rapist." And that question didn't sit well with Tyson. At all.

"I don't know who said that," he said. "You're the only one I heard say that, you know what I mean? And I don't have no comment to that. Because it's negative and you're being negative and I met the Mayor. There's nothing they can do about it."

And then, he really started taking aim at Downer.

"It's so interesting because you come across as a nice guy," he said, "but you're really a piece of shit."

"We're doing live TV," Downer said, trying to remind Tyson that he couldn't use that kind of language on the air.

But by that point, Tyson had checked out of the interview. And as you'll in the clip above, he used several other curse words, refused to answer any of Downer's questions, and forced the TV reporter to end his interview early.

Weirdly, though, it feels like Tyson really held back here, didn't he? Ten or 15 years ago, he probably would have had a much different response to Downer. Check out the video to see what we mean.

Oh, and just in case you're wondering, Downer seems to be taking the verbal ass-kicking that he received from Tyson in stride:

UPDATE:

A representative for Tyson spoke with TMZ Sports a short time ago and revealed why the former boxer was so upset with Downer. "Mike was there to promote his very successful 1-man show and we felt deceived, bamboozled by the reporter when he broke our agreement to focus on the show by going off-topic," the rep said.
