Teenage Girl Leads Team to Little League World Series, Makes Opposing Batters Look Silly

She's making the boys nervous in the batter's box.

The Taney Dragons of South Philadelphia are going to the Little League World Series. While their spot in the upcoming tournament may not seem like huge news on its own, you'll feel differently after you take a look at the team's starting pitcher, Mo'Ne Davis, who led the Dragons to victory last night by throwing a complete game shut-out with six strike-outs. Davis, 13, will be the 18th girl to compete in the Little League World Series, and she's doing it with power.

As you can see from the clip above, Davis is dominating the competition from the mound. The young Philadelphian can throw a 70 mph fastball, as well as a deadly curve, frustrating countless teenage boys in the process. The batter she fans above looks like he wants to snap his bat in half.

Said Davis after last night's qualifying victory, "I just considered it a regular game. I just went out to throw strikes and to help my team." She certainly did. Kudos to Davis, who is on the way to making this year's LLWS more exciting than ever.
