As College football fans chug dozens of Natural Lights and eat their weight in nachos today, IndyCar fans have a bittersweet evening ahead. Tonight, the MAVTV 500 presents the final race of the season. We took a trip to the Auto Club Speedway this week to take a ride in a two-seater IndyCar and talk to Simon Pagenaud, who is currently third in the points standings. In order for him to win the championship, he needs to win the race, he needs Helio Castroneves to finish fourth place or worse, and he needs current points leader Will Power to finish 21st or worse. So it's a small chance, but a chance nonetheless. Check out how he's staying positive going into the race, and remember to catch the action tonight at 9 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
