There are less than two weeks remaining before the start of the 2014-15 NFL season. So you would think that teams like the Buccaneers would be settled on who is going to be in the starting lineup for them when they take the field to play the Panthers in Week 1. But at the moment, Tampa Bay is still scrambling to plug some holes in their roster—and they might be thinking about making a controversial signing to do it.

According to multiple reports, the Bucs met with offensive lineman Richie Incognito earlier today and are said to be thinking about signing him to a deal. They are short on guards and a guy like Incognito could offer them the opportunity to plug a quality guard into their lineup immediately. Of course, they'd also have to accept the PR nightmare that would come along with having Incognito on their team. But they're reportedly weighing the risk versus reward right now after meeting with him.

Stay tuned to see whether or not Lovie Smith & Co. decide to give the former Dolphins guard a deal. If they do, all eyes will shift towards Tampa in the coming weeks.
