Oscar Pistorius is right smack dab in the middle of a very controversial murder trial right now that has (obviously!) not painted him in a very favorable light. So the absolute last thing that he needs right now is more negative publicity surrounding him. But that's exactly what he's facing at the moment as a result of a bar fight that he was involved in on Saturday night.

According to reports out of South Africa, Pistorius—who is currently on trial for allegedly murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp—went to a nightclub in Johannesburg over the weekend with his cousin and got into an altercation with a fellow patron. Pistorius' family claims that the patron got aggressive with Pistorius after asking him questions about his trial. But the patron claims that Pistorius was the aggressor inside of the club and that he was the one who attacked him. The man also claims that Pistorius was drunk that night and that he insulted several other people inside of the bar.

Regardless of what happened, though, it's pretty clear that now is not the time for Pistorius to be hanging out inside of bars and getting into fights. Because even if the other man did instigate the fight, Pistorius has to assume that arguments and fights are going to take place if he shows up in public. So why the hell was he in a nightclub in the first place?

Something tells us that that's exactly what his lawyers and his family are asking him right now—and that it'll lead to Pistorius being very quiet between now and and the end of his trial, which is set to resume early next month.
