There's a reason it's almost a requirement these days for high-end sports cars (or any car, really) to go through testing at the most famous track in the world, the Nürburgring. Usually, it's to fine tune the car or to try out the limits of what the machine can really do. The 'ring has a treacherous history, and it lived up to its Green Hell nickname when the 2015 Acura NSX stopped by, pushing the supercar over its abilities, causing it to catch fire and burn to the ground. It got ugly.

The issue falls into place in a line of hang-ups in the development of the car that leave consumers when the car will actually hit the market. The concept car first debuted back in 2012 with a mid-engined V6-hybrid setup, coupled with all-wheel drive. Let's hope these problems get fixed quickly.
