In December, Toyota is going to begin its hydrogen-powered campaign in earnest by beginning production of the Toyota FCV hydrogen-powered car in Japan. According to Japan Times' report, the company will "likely" price it around ¥8 million (About $78,000), before cutting that price down to around ¥3 million to ¥5 million ($29,250 to $49,700-ish) with a follow-up model in 2020.

Capacity will be small at first; only "dozens" of cars will be made per month.
