Nobody has ever accused baseball of being the most compelling, action-packed sport. It’s an easy game to sort of switch your brain off and stare into space, and even at the professional level players sometimes fall asleep at the wheel.
This, however, is pretty egregious.
The Colorado Rockies yesterday managed to compound one error (a wild pitch) with another (a bad throw), and then another (totally falling asleep with the ball). You can check out the result above.
