Here we go again. Today General Motors has announced it's recalling another 2.7 million vehicles, bringing the grand total for 2014 up to more than 11 million. This time around it isn't for the infamous ignition switch flaw, though.
Most of the affected cars, 2.4 million of them, are being recalled for faulty wiring that could cause brake lights not to illuminate. The cars include the 2004-12 Malibu, 2004-7 Malibu Maxx, 2005-10 Pontiac G6, and 2007-10 Saturn Aura.
GM is certainly making the right move here by being proactive, but this is still bad news in what has already been an awful year for the car manufacturer.
