NASCAR attracts some big celebrities when it makes a pit-stop in California. This year will be no different. Actress Mindy Kaling, star of “The Office” and “The Mindy Project”, will be behind the wheel of the Official 2014 Toyota Camry Pace Car to lead off the Auto Club 400, this Sunday in Fontana, California.
Joining the lineup will be Billy Ray Cyrus, who is expected to perform a pre-race concert, and Gonzo from the Muppets who will deliver the iconic words, “Drivers, start your engines.” So there you have it; the NASCAR Sprint Cup will be brought to you by a customer service rep from Scranton, Miley Cyrus’ dad, and a puppet.
