It didn't take long for Darrelle Revis to find a new team, huh? Just hours after getting released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Revis has reportedly signed with the New England Patriots. The sound you just heard was the collective *sigh* from Jets fans everywhere. ESPN's Adam Schefter is reporting that the contract is a one-year deal worth $12 million. For the Gang Green faithful who thought/were hoping for a reunion, Rich Cimini of ESPN said that Revis' camp contacting the Jets was a "transparent ploy to stimulate the market and get Jets fans worked up."
Your move, Jets.
Update: Revis' business maanger John Geiger is refuting Schefter's report.
As of now, nothing has been agreed to with Revis and Patriots.
