How is former Baylor point guard Pierre Jacksonnot in the NBA? He was selected by the 76ers in the second round of the 2013 NBA Draft last summer and later traded to the Pelicans. But he didn't end up catching on with New Orleans and, as of right now, hasn't gotten much attention from the NBA. But after what he was able to do last night, Jackson should get a few nibbles from teams looking for a solid backup option at PG.

Jackson—who currently plays for the NBA D-League's Idaho Stampede and leads the league in scoring with an average of 30.2 points per game— scored 58 points during a game against the Texas Legends last night. And by doing so, he shattered the record for most points scored in a single NBDL game. The previous record was held by Morris Almond and Will Conroy, who scored 53 points each in games back in 2008 and 2009 respectively. And Jackson made his accomplishment even more impressive by dishing out 8 assists in addition to his 58 points.

You can watch Jackson's performance in the clip above. He finished the game 24-for-33 from the field and went 7-for-13 from behind the three-point line. Not bad, right? Not bad at all. Now, which NBA team wants to take a chance on this guy?
