A massive sinkhole at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky. has apparently swallowed eight cars, according to local reports. No word yet on what body style the 40- by 20-to-30-foot sinkhole prefers.

- 1993 ZR-1 Spyder loaned from GM
- 2009 ZR1 "Blue Devil" loaned from GM
- 1962 Black Corvette owned by NCM
- 1984 PPG Pace Car owned by NCM
- 1992 White 1 Millionth Corvette owned by NCM
- 1993 Red Ruby 40th Anniversary Corvette owned by NCM
- 2001 Mallett Hammer Z06 Corvette
- 2009 White 1 Millionth Corvette

The National Corvette Museum, a 110,000-square-foot facility, is located a quarter-mile from where Corvettes have been manufactured since mid-1981. The sinkhole apparently occurred at the Sky Dome, which features 30 unique Corvettes, including the only 1983 Corvette in existence. Hopefully it still exists.
The museum remains open, although the Sky Dome is closed until further notice.
