We told you recently that McLaren was working on a new supercar that would sit above the MP4-12C to do battle with the Ferrari F12 and Lamborghini Aventador, and we told you that it would be based on the same architecture that underpins the 12C and the P1, but now we have some more information and this admittedly uninspiring photo.
The name, 650S, refers to the 650 ps (641 hp) output of the engine, which will be responsible for a 3.2 second 0-60 time and a 204 mph top speed. The front end will look similar to the P1, and the whole car will utilize aerodynamic tricks from the P1's development.
