The Latest Knicks Gaffe Involving Raymond Felton Brought the Twitter (Ahem) Guns Out

Shots fired.

Sorry, Knicks fans, but your team is officially a lost cause. Their record is bad. Their starting lineup is bad. Their bench is bad. Their coach is bad. Their luck is bad. Their owner is bad. Everything—with the exception of poor Carmelo Anthony—is just bad right now.

How bad? So bad that the Knicks are losing both on and off the court. Last night, they lost a heartbreaker to the Mavericks at the buzzer when Dirk Nowitzki got a lucky bounce to beat the Knicks. And then, they woke up this morning to the news that their point guard Raymond Feltonwas arrested late last night on several felony gun possession charges that could very well lead to him serving some time in jail. All the facts aren't out yet, so we don't want to jump to any conclusions. But…yeah. Like we said, bad, bad, bad.

People aren't taking any mercy on the Knicks, either. At the moment, they're going in on Felton on Twitter, creating tweets and memes that range from extra hilarious to downright disrespectful. It's not the first time Twitter has poked fun at the Knicks—word to Air Bargs!—but Twitter is doing its best to bury the Knicks today in order to put them out of their misery once and for all.

To see what we mean, check out some of the Twitter reactions that we've found to the news about Felton getting arrested. Pardon the pun, but Twitter is taking shots from all angles:
