Kevin Durant broke the hearts of millions of Knicks fans the other night by dropping 41 points in a 112-100 Thunder win over New York. And in doing so, he also accidentally broke a part of J.R. Smith's face.

Obviously, KD didn't do it on purpose. But during the fourth quarter of the Knicks/Thunder game on Sunday, Durant accidentally kneed Smith in the face. And Smith suffered a fractured cheekbone on the play. Fortunately, he won't have to miss any time for the Knicks. But Smith will need to wear a protective mask over his face for a few weeks to let his cheekbone heal.

Look for the mask to make its debut during the Knicks game against the Kings on Wednesday night.
