Bad news, Heat fans.

It's been a while since we have heard from Andrew Bynum. In early January, Bynum was sent packing by the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Chicago Bulls, who released him the very next day. After clearing waivers, Bynum was given the freedom to sign with any team and after mulling over his options, it looks like the Indiana Pacers will be the team that will acquire his "services."

According to the Indy Star, the Pacers and Bynum "were meeting tonight" but there was no deal on the table. However, ESPN's Brian Windhorst went further with the initial report, saying that the Pacers are planning to sign Bynum. Even though nothing is set in stone just yet, the Miami Heat have to be a little concerned about this latest development because if they have one weakness, it is at the center position. Chris Bosh is good and all, but a tandem of Roy Hibbert and Bynum is likely to give Miami nightmares come playoff time.

UPDATE: The Pacers made the signing of Bynum official on Twitter.
