The verdict is finally in. We now know the rules for driving while wearing Google Glass. Well, sort of. The judge in the case of Cecilia Abadiedismissed her charges for speeding and driving while using a "monitor". He said there wasn't enough evidence to prove whether Abadie was actually using Google Glass while driving or just had the wearable technology on.

"It doesn't necessarily answer the question everybody wanted: Is it legal to drive down the road wearing Google Glass while it's operating?" said William Concidine, a lawyer who represented Abadie.

For now it'll be up to the discretion of individual officers and judges. There's no clear direction until any laws are passed—which could happen soon
