The first 2015 Ford Mustang GT was just sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, AZ. Well, it wasn't actually the first one, it was a prototype that was wheeled out so that people had something to look at. The winner of this auction gets to choose what color and transmission will be in Mustang #1.
The car sold for $300,000, because rich people like being able to say "first!!!11!" just as much as the average YouTube commenter. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
