Kobe Bryant isn't the only major athlete dealing with a knee injury right now.

The New York Giants just announced that their star wide receiver Victor Cruz is finished for the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee today. Cruz injured the knee—and suffered a concussion—during the Giants' 23-0 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday. And as a result of the surgery, the Giants have ruled him out for the rest of the year.

It's yet another crushing blow for the Giants and for Cruz, who finished the year just two yards shy of recording a 1,000-yard season. It would have been his third consecutive one. What a bummer.
