While we've been out here raving about electric cars, Hyundai has been working on some new hotness: a hydrogen-powered SUV. The Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell is set to debut on Southern California roads next year. Hyundai will lease the hydrogen cars in the region, which has nine of the countries ten hydrogen refueling stations, for $599 a month

Unlike electric cars, those powered by hydrogen only take minutes to re-up. Fuel tanks should also be able to last nearly 300 miles. It's possible that hydrogen cars can overtake its gas and electric counterparts. If it happens, this Hyundai will be the first step.
