Much ado has been made about the Scion FR-S's razor sharp handling and “lower than a Porsche” center of gravity, but those statements are always tempered by complaints regarding the lackluster engine. This FR-S has had a turbocharger tossed into the engine bay by Bulletproof, and the end result is a whopping 500 horsepower.
In addition, the car has been on a serious high (carbon)fiber diet and is weighing in under 3,000 lbs, which means that this beast's power to weight ratio is better than a $375,000 Lexus LFA. In order to help harness all of that power, Bulletproof has added a ton of functional aero, tightened up the suspension, and put some much larger, much stickier tires on some new lightweight wheels.
The FR-S Concept One is here, and it wants to kill your Ferrari.
