Two days ago, we told you a story about the Toronto Raptors mascot suffering a torn Achilles prior to the team's preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Well, if you're anything like us, you're probably wondering how that happened. We finally have our answer, along with some video evidence.

During a community event in Halifax, "The Raptor" (yes, that's the best name they came up with) attempted a backflip and...snap. Still, the mascot played it off pretty well and even finished the segment, giving the kid a high-five and then heading off the stage with that "this shit really hurts, eh" walk. See what we did there?
