We've all seen plenty of car accidents involving utility poles over the years. Because the poles are situated so closely to most major roads, they unfortunately get hit quite often. But we've never seen a car hit one quite like this before.

Recently, the driver of the car that you see in the photo above was making his way down a street in Los Angeles when he swerved to avoid hitting a car in front of him. And when he did, his car went airborne for a few seconds, twisted and turned, and then eventually came to rest on a utility pole. And when we say "on a utility pole," we literally mean on a utility pole. He didn't crash through it. Instead, he rested his car up against it. And from the looks of things, he actually did pretty minimal damage to his car, which would not have been the case if he had hit the pole head-on.

Check out the surveillance video of the accident over here. Pretty crazy, right? This driver could try to do this a million times and not manage to perch his car on that pole. But somehow, someway, he managed to do it during his recent accident.
