Over the last year, Vince Young has dealt with his fair share of bad news. From the news of him reportedly blowing through his entire $26 million rookie contract to being forced to auction off nearly all of his possessions late last month, Young was in dire need of some good news. Today, that good news came in the form of a one-year deal with the Green Bay Packers. As luck would have it, the Packers were eyeing VY even before training camp even started, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Over time, he team's interest grew when their current backup quarterbacks to Aaron Rodgers proved to be underwhelming.

Young is back in the NFL after nearly a year away from the league and those pesky debt collectors will get their money back even sooner. It's a win-win for everyone.
