2002 was a sad year for cars. The Toyota Supra, a car dope enough to be driven by Brian O'Conner in the first, and best, Fast and Furious was discontinued.

Now, it might be back, or at least a car inspired by it might. Toyota is currently working on a sports car in collaboration with BMW. In an interview at a gathering for Japan's largest business lobbying group, future Toyota chairman Takeshi Uchiyamada said he wants the new vehicle to be like the Supra. He says it's not his decision, but certainly a chairman of all people has some sort of pull. Keep those fingers crossed.
