McLaren P1 Sales Are Well Ahead of Targets

The rich are doing just fine.

One would think that it would be difficult to sell a $1.3 Million car, but with the class gap widening, it seems like it's actually rather easy. Of the 375 McLaren P1s that are going to be made, about 275 of them have already been sold. The vast majority of these sales have been in Europe, the Middle East, and America, but the company is planning a sales trip to East Asia next.

For the remaining 100 cars, McLaren reports that there are about 500 potential customers lined up.

Meanwhile, Ferrari has already sold every single one of the most idiotically named supercar ever made, the Ferrari LaFerrari.
