The 959 was a supercar that ultimately served to define the term ‘supercar.’ It was sophisticated, stylish and had tons of power. Unlike most supercars of the 1980s, the 959 looked great but wasn’t all “hey, I’m a supercar, look at me.” It was, in a word, understated.

RM Auctions recently got their hands on this little gem, a 1988 959 Komfort. It’s basically a stock 959 with some added interior upgrades, including a radio, leather seats and air conditioning.

The 959 is set to hit the block on Saturday April 27 in Houston. RM expects the car to sell for between $500,000 and $650,000.
