Were you outraged by the video of former Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice that aired on ESPN's Outside the Lines the other day? Further, were you outraged over the fact that Rutgers knew about the tape last November and didn't fire Rice back then? Well, then this latest piece of news about Rice should get you plenty fired up.

Due to a stipulation included in his contract, Rice is set to receive a $100,000 bonus for finishing out the 2012-13 NCAA season. So, even though he was fired yesterday as a result of the video—and even though many people out there believe that he should have been fired months ago as a result of the video—Rutgers has to pay Rice $100K because of his contract.

Not a bad parting gift for the troubled coach, eh?
