Before the futuristic Countach and before the iconic Miura, there was this: The 1965 Lamborghini 350 GT Coupe.

The car has outstanding performance, with four-wheel independent suspension and a four-cam V-12 engine derived from engineer Giotto Bizzarrini’s extensive racing experience. Only 131 examples were built before the 350 GT was replaced by the 400 GT 2+2, making the 350 one of the rarest Lambo models ever made.

According to RM Auctions, who will be selling the 350 GT on April 27, 2013 in Fort Worth, Texas, the car has an auction estimate of $300,000 to $400,000.
