Things are looking even bleaker for Oscar Pistorius, the former Olympic Gold medalist sprinter who was charged with the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp. South Africa's City Pressreported that a bloodied cricket bat was found in Pistorius' home. Steenkamp's skull was crushed as well, and the police are still trying to find out exactly what role did the bat played in the murder. As of now, this is what City Press' sources have as an account leading to the shooting:

The bedclothes were crumpled. "It was clear that both of them had slept in the bed," said a police source.

Police are currently requesting for Pistorius' blood to be analyzed for a potential roid rage claim. His family is still sticking to the claim that the murder was an honest botched burglary defense. Henke Pistorius, Oscar's father said, "When you wake up in the middle of the night - and crime is so endemic in South Africa - what do you do if somebody is in the house? Do you think it's one of your family? Of course you don't."
