Infiniti Will Unveil a New G at the Detroit Auto Show

The current one's looking a bit tired.

We haven't even wrapped up the LA Auto Show yet and we're already hearing news regarding the Detroit show. Infiniti is finally going to be replacing the now archaic, in design terms, Infiniti G37 sedan. The new one will be "much sportier and more dynamic than the current car" and will be built on Mercedes' C-Class platform through the Daimler-Renault partnership. More Mercedes parts and technology will be used inthe drive train to ensure that the new G is both suitably efficient and sporty.

Also in the pile line is an twin turbo, 400+ horsepower M3 rival that will be badged as the G-IPL.
