The shield just can't let this go. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell tweaked two of the Bountygate suspensions and upheld the other two. He reduced Cleveland Browns LB Scott Fujita three-game suspension to one and free agent Anthony Hargrove's eight-game suspension shrunk to seven. Jonathan Vilma's year-long suspension and Will Smith's four-game bid didn't change. This is a surprising turn of events. The NFLPA won an appeal four weeks ago that overturned Goodell's punishments and allowed the players in question to return to the field. They have 72 hours to appeal and will be able to play until the process takes its course.

Maybe this has something to do with his mug plastered all over Vilma's restaurant.
