Pentagon Challenges Public to Design New Marine Tanks

A total of $4 million dollars in prizes to be given out for the winning design in DARPA's FANG challenge.

Researchers at DARPA are looking for designs from innovative engineers for a new amphibious infantry vehicle and they're hoping that the public will produce what their looking for. What their calling the FANG (Fast, Adaptable, Next-Generation Ground Vehicle) Challenge, will offer a total of $4 million in prizes for three separate challenges, with designs to be built in the iFAB Foundry. The video above explains the challenge and why the Department of Defense is looking for a new source of innovation.
