Lolo Jones Tried Out For Winter Olympic Sport

The final outcome was much like her performance in London.

After a disappointing performance in the Summer Olympics, Lolo Jones cannot wait four years for another shot at a gold medal. So, on Friday, Lolo competed in the U.S. bobsled push-start championships where she finished tied for 7th place.

While the sport may not have been at the top of Jones' list, she decided to go through with it after U.S. bobsled coach Todd Hays invited her and two other members of U.S. women’s Olympic track team, Hyleas Fountain and Tianna Madison, so that they could “share their Olympics experiences with our athletes and to help boost team morale.”
