Matt Schaub had a great game against the Broncos yesterday. He threw for 290 yards, connected with his receivers for four touchdowns, lost a part of his ear, put up a shitload of fantasy football points, amassed an excellent quarterback rating, and…wait, what?! Yeah, you read that right. Schaub—who took a few big hits during the game, including the one you see below—had a piece of his ear ripped off and kept right on playing.

We knew football players were tough. But, we didn't know they were lose-a-part-of-their-ear-and-keep-on-playing tough. That must have hurt. But, it makes what Schaub was able to do yesterday all the more impressive.
