Looks like Chris Paul might be headed to Los Angeles to play this season after all! Just don't look for him in purple-and-gold. ESPN's Chris Broussard is now reporting that the Hornets have submitted a blockbuster trade proposal to the league that would send CP3 to the...Clippers. Yes, the Clippers!

The deal reportedly calls for the Clips to send Eric Gordon, Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, and a 2012 first-round draft pick from the Timberwolves in exchange for Paul. The only hitch right now: The league-owned Hornets apparently want the Clippers to include Eric Bledsoe in the deal as well. It sounds like that's the one thing that's stopping this trade from becoming a reality.

Stay tuned for more details. And, hey, if a deal with this L.A. team doesn't work out, maybe you'd like to try and work something out with the Dodgers, Chris?!? Good grief. Just get this man a plane ticket to the City of Angels already, David Stern!
